'The Armory Show at 100 - Modernism and Revolution' at the New York Historical Society

Don't miss this exhibition at the New York Historical Society until February 23, 2014!  Founding members of the 1913 Armory Show included Rockland County residents Arthur B. Davies and John Mowbray Clarke. Gallery Moderne is lending this piece entitled 'Spring' by  John Mowbray Clarke - vice president of the Association of American Painters and Sculptors.  It is placed amongst extraordinary company including Van Gogh, Matisse, Brancusi,Picasso, Picabia and the classic Duchamp 'Nude Descending a Staircase'.
