Science, Religion and the Future

On October 16, 2013 at 7:00 P.M., Dr. Andrew Smith will make a presentation in his series on Science, Religion and the Future. Dr. Smith’s topic this month will be Developments in Biology and Physics: Causes for Concern. He will share some of his insights into recent developments in these sciences and their ramifications for religion and for the future. 

Dr. Smith will  be addressing the process of cloning, recombinant DNA, Quantum theory and string/membrane theory, and summing up with the discovery of habitable planets 22 light years away.

Following Dr. Smith’s presentation there will be a time for questions and discussion. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
