HSRC on the Radio: Roger Peltzman's Holocaust Tribute

Professional pianist and Blauvelt native Roger Peltzman has embarked on a musical project to pay tribute to his uncle Norbert Stern, a promising pianist who was killed at Auschwitz at age 21. His moving effort to memorialize a young talent tragically killed, using the music of Chopin, has been a labor of love and devotion. Please join us as we explore all of the aspects of this incredible tribute.

"Crossroads of Rockland History," which airs on WRCR 1300 AM at 10:10 am on the third Monday of each month, is a program of the Historical Society of Rockland County (live streaming at www.WRCR.com ). Join host Clare Sheridan as we explore, celebrate, and learn about our local history, with different topics and guest speakers every month.

The January 20 broadcast of "Crossroads of Rockland History" has been made possible by a generous contribution from The town of Ramapo, Supervisor Christopher Saint Lawrence, and the Ramapo Town Board.
