First Friday in Nyack – A Showcase of Works of Art, Drama and Music Students in Nyack High School
Arts Angels, a non-profit organization, aims to promote arts education and programming for students in the Nyack Public Schools. Our fund-raising activities provide financial support to ensure the vitality of arts education and programming in Nyack schools, specifically to support the Works groups - Art, Drama & Music. The funds raised from this event are divided equally among the three work groups and will be used as needed (including: to support trips for performances and competitions; purchase equipment and materials; provide scholarships for private lessons; support workshops and master classes).
In the spirit of First Friday, and as Arts Angels strives to engage a larger audience to support the talent of our Nyack students, we will collaborate with a highly esteemed business -- Maria Luisa Boutique in Nyack. First Friday in Nyack aims to bring together local artists and local businesses throughout downtown Nyack on the first Friday of every month.
Suggested donation of $20 to view the student’s showcase, enjoy refreshments and receive a 20% discount on your evening purchase in the shop.
