The Third Interfaith Symposium sponsored by the Nyack Interfaith Clergy Committee will be held on February 8th, 2013 at 7:30pm at Temple Beth Torah, Upper Nyack. A Learning Service will be given by Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham from Congregation Sons of Israel and Rabbi Brian Beal from Temple Beth Torah. This service will be exceptional as it is a combination of Conservative and Reform Judaism. People from all faiths are welcome and encouraged to attend.

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I think…Read More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village
about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive
campaign. The village should have been involved in this
program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before
this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this
worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
