Chaiken is the founder of LA-based What’s the Story? Studio, where she works with writers and performers who are wrestling with personal story. She is on the performance faculty at University of Southern California, and has toured internationally as a Fulbright Scholar in the field of Performance and Story. Her new play The Dig: death, Genesis + the double helix is scheduled for a fall 2013 premiere.

Looking for Louie is performed with live accompaniment by bassist Ratzo B. Harris. Harris is a 1995 Thelonious Monk Competition semi-finalist and past contributing columnist for Bass Player Magazine. An innovative bassist, Ratzo has worked with some of the greatest musicians of our time including John Handy, Charles Lloyd, Joe Lovano, Les Paul, Joanne Brackeen, and Betty Buckley.
