In the 50th Anniversary year of the franchise, James Bond fans will have another opportunity to experience the magic and suspense of James Bond 007 Skyfall at IMAX Palisades. The film ends a four year gap between films as Quantum of Solace was released in 2008. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Skyfall marks the return of Daniel Craig for the third time as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007, as well as Judi Dench reprising her role as M. The film also stars franchise newcomers Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Naomie Harris with an appearance by Albert Finney. The film is directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty) from a screenplay written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and John Logan. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are producers. It is the first Bond movie for Mendes.
