You're Invited to Network & Re-Gift!

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) December Luncheon will mix face-to-face networking with a chance for like-minded clutter busters
to get rid of unwanted items in good condition!

Re-Gift Auction to be held on December 12, 2012
12-2 pm at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet.

While everyone has at least one taste-impaired relative, the gathering of friends is a chance to exchange goods in the hope that someone might find a use for one of the items.

Not only will a re-gift party exorcise those drunk reindeer patterned shot glasses from your home, but you might pick up some kitsch you’ve secretly wanted. If you never quietly hankered for a Frosty The Snowman snow globe, the RBWN
Re-Gift Party is a great way to pick up some great gifts before the holiday shopping rush.

If you don’t have an item to re-gift, restaurant and store gift certificates or gift cards will be accepted and auctioned off starting at face value. You may also provide a gift certificate for a product or service that you or your business is offering. Be sure to bring cash or your checkbook and credit cards.

Re-Gift Requirements:
Only NEW unused items will be allowed.
Minimum value $10 per item.
Store/restaurant gift cards are allowed and will be auctioned at face value.
Bring cash, credit card or checks. Items will be allowed as taxable donations.
You may provide a gift certificate for a product or service that you or your business is offering.
Lunch is $30 for pre-registered members and $40 for members at the door and $45 for guests.

If you are a RBWN member and you
pre-register by 5 pm on December 10, you pay $30.
After 5 pm December 10 and at the door, you pay $40.

Guests and non-members are asked to pre-register.
You pay $45 each.

Go to www.rbwn.org to reserve your ticket!

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I thinkRead More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
