Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Awards Ceremony

ARC of Rockland will honor Alex Messer of Valley Cottage, NY and Alan Albert of Pearl River, NY.  Mr. Messer is a Direct Support Professional in an ARC home, recognized for his exceptional skills and character in assisting the residents of the home.  

Alan Albert lives in an ARC home, actively participates in ARC’s recreation program, has appeared in ARC’s annual American Ideal competition and volunteered at ARC’s premier fundraiser, A Taste of Rockland.  Alan is skilled in self-advocacy, having completed a course and confidently speaking up for himself and his friends.
