Wednesday night's rain slammed West Nyack and submerged roadways that often flood during heavy precipitation.
As of about 1 p.m. Thursday, Rt. 59 by the Palisades Center was partially underwater. Traffic is able to pass through, but there is mild congestion. The waters have receded since the flooding began late Wednesday night.
