Welcome to Nyack-Piermont Patch!

We're a hyper-local news Web site covering government, culture, sports and daily-life in Nyack, Piermont, Upper Nyack, South Nyack, Central Nyack, West Nyack and Grand View. I'm the editor, Kevin Zawacki, and I'm dedicated to bringing you the most important news in the region. I'm from right across river in Briarcliff Manor, and I have experience working with several newspapers and magazines.

On Patch, you'll find stories covering everything from village politics and economics to local sports, arts and culture. Patch reporters insinuate themselves with the community—attending school board meetings and village hall discussions and maintaining a rapport with police and fire departments—to keep you in the loop.
