Village Updates:

The snow emergency policy for the Village of Nyack will go into effect as of 10 p.m. Friday night. If you have a car within the it must be removed from the streets by 10 p.m. tonight.

Transportation

Bus Service Alert (as of 3:00 p.m. on February 8)

2/8/13

• TOR: All service will be suspended at 4:00PM with the exception of the route#59, which will continue service until 7:00PM. Please expect delays.
• TZx: Operating a normal weekday service until 6:30PM. All service will besuspended after 6:30PM. Extra TZx buses will be available at Tarrytowntown to meet Metro-North’s early getaway schedule. Please expect delays.
• TRIPS: Operating a normal weekday service until 5:00PM. Please expect delays.

• TOR: A decision on the start of service will be made by 8:00AM. Serviceremains suspended until at least that time.
• TZx: A decision on the start of service will be made by 8:00AM. Serviceremains suspended until at least that time.
• TRIPS: NO Regular TRIPS Service. ADA service only.

Nyack Schools

Nyack public schools have early dismissal today because of impending snow:

• High School dismissal is 10:30am
• Middle School dismissal is 11am
• All Elementaries will dismiss at 11:30am

There is no out-of-district busing today. The Nyack Middle School Musical has been rescheduled  for Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 PM
