Tens of thousands of people remain without power this morning in Westchester and Rockland in the wake of Saturday's freak early snow storm, which slammed the area with a thick coating of wet, heavy snow.
In Westchester, Con Ed reports 63,937 customers are still without power this morning.
In Rockland County, Orange and Rockland Utilities reports 33,469 customers are still without power.
Emergency officials are asking residents to limit their travel today so that highway and utility crews can clear blocked streets and repair power lines brought down my many falling tree limbs.
