Rockland Teacher Fundraises for Sandy Relief

In an effort to raise money for children affected by Hurricane Sandy, Nanuet Teacher Michael Minard is donating all proceeds of his holiday album Mike's Songs for the Seasons to The Children's Aid Society through The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund.

"So far, over $1,000. has been raised and the reviews on the album have been terrific," said Minard.

Checks should be made out to The Children's Aid Society, memo NYTimes Neediest, Sandy Relief.

"We can make a difference," said Minard. "Iur group donation will be matched by the Abram and Ray Kaplan Foundation."
