Police: Nyack Woman Drove Car Reported Stolen

She's arrested in New Jersey.

A Nyack woman was charged with receiving stolen property after she was stopped on Route 287 in New Jersey, according to Franklin Lakes (NJ) Police.

Latoya Morris, 33, was stopped by Police Officer Francis O'Brien at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday after he observed the car she was driving on Route 208. Police said they found the car had been reported stolen in Spring Valley.

A passenger in the car, police said, was not charged with any offense. Morris was ordered held in the Bergen County (NJ) Jail pending a hearing.
