Nyack: No School on May 24, 25

District accounts for lack of snow days

Nyack students peeved by the lack of snow days this winter can celebrate—there will be no classes Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25.

May 24 will be a superintedent's conference day for staff. Flyers and phone calls will go out to parents in the district.

Nyack Schools tentatively announced the schedule revamp in early April, but waited before making the decision official.

"We don't want to put the cart before the horse," said superintendent James Montesano, who noted a late winter storm could still strike.
