Nyack: Main Street Paving Set for Next Week

Streetscape will lay fresh pavement on the village's main thoroughfare.

Nyack's Main Street will be closed from Broadway to Franklin a portion of next week for paving.

The overhaul is part of the village's Streetscape initiative, which equipped downtown with new sidewalks, street lights and other infrastructure.

Milling of asphalt is slated for Monday, Oct. 8, with paving scheduled for the following Tuesday and Wednesday. Main Street will be closed or have limited access during the work days, beginning at 7 a.m., village officials said.
