HomeGoods Customers Support the Jimmy Fund

When you shop at HomeGoods now through the end of June, you will have the chance to help fight cancer.

"HomeGoods and its dedicated customers have raised more than $3.1 million for Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund," said Suzanne Fountain, director of the Jimmy Fund. "We are so grateful for their continued support in our fight against cancer and helping families facing this disease.”

More than 275 HomeGoods locations, including stores in Nanuet, and White Plains, will participate in the “Help Families Fight Cancer” campaign for the Jimmy Fund, which supports pediatric and adult cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Mass.

Customers can make a donation at the register where 100 percent of the funds go to the Dana-Farber institute or can purchase a reusable bag for $.99 featuring the artwork of Phobe Davis, a pediatric patient at the Jimmy Fund Clinic, and her brother Caleb. For each bag purchased, HomeGoods will donate $.50 to the Jimmy Fund.

“When a person is diagnosed with cancer, their entire world changes in a heartbeat,” said Lisa Scherber, director of patient and family programs at the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber. “Often it’s not just the individual fighting cancer on their own, their entire family comes together to support them. We appreciate HomeGoods supporting these patients and their families as they fight cancer together.”
