Time to figure out what to do this weekend

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

  • Why go: Enter a world of magic in the time of Shakespeare performed by talented children ages 8-13.

  • Why go: Celebrate the new library with music, circus, and more festivities.

  • Where/When: Rockland Community College Cultural Arts Theater; Saturday at 7:30  p.m.  
  • Why go: Many different dance groups around Rockland are coming together to put on a big show to celebrate dancing and expression.
  • Pricing: $15

  • Where/When: Veteran's Memorial Park; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  
  • Why go: Why not go out and enjoy a sunny Saturday this weekend! Plus $1,000 bond to person who catches the biggest fish!
  • Pricing: Free (worms available for 25 cents) 

5. Dr. Woodstock Festival

  • Where/When: Rockland Community College outdoor amphitheater; Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • Why go: In honor of the schools president Dr.  Cliff Wood and keep in theme with 1969 Woodstock, the Student Activities Board and Student Government Association is presenting an outdoor music festival complete with food and craft vendors.
  • Pricing: Free for RCC students, $5 for everyone else
