Weekend Happenings: Concerts, Festivals, Dancing and More

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

1. 

• Where/When: Riverspace, Saturday at 8 p.m.
• Why go: Excellent music will make you feel like the Beatles are right before your eyes. Plus, part of the proceeds will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of New York.
• Pricing: $18  

2.   

• Where/When: Empire City Casino in Yonkers, Saturday from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.
• Why go: There will be fun for the whole family with live harness racing, a Beach Boys tribute band, food, games and much more
• Pricing: Free

3. Art Walk

• Where/When: Throughout the village of Nyack, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 12 to 5 p.m. and  6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
• Why go:  In honor of Edward Hopper and the Hopper House, artists will be at various locations with their work for all to enjoy and explore.
• Pricing: Free

4. Clearwater Festival

• Where/When: Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson; Saturday and Sunday.  
• Why go: It's an entire weekend festival full of music, arts, food, and environmental awareness.
• Pricing: $60 per day or $70 for both days by June 17, and $80 per day or $125 for both days at the gate. Camping also available for additional fee.

5. Dancing Under the Stars

• Where/When: Outside Haverstraw Town Hall, Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 
• Why go: The street will be closed and dances lessons will be given while some great music is played
• Pricing: Free
