With the work week nearing its end, check out this list of just a few things you can do around the county this weekend:
- When/Where - Friday 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at New City Elementary School, located at 60 Crestwood Drive, New City
- Why Go - This year’s blood drive is in honor of Briana Johnson, a third grader at Lakewood Elementary currently being treated for lymphoma and leukemia and has received transfusions with the potential for more during the course of her treatment.

- When/Where - Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Historical Society of Rockland County, located at 20 Zukor Road, New City.
- Why Go - Learn about spring traditions of various cultures through stories, dances, food and crafts. Weather permitting, there will also be an egg hunt, as well as a concert.
- Pricing - $5 per person, or free for Historical Society members and children under 2. Free parking.
- When/Where - Sunday 2 p.m. at Nauraushaun Presbyterian Church, located at 51 Sickletown Road, Pearl River.
- Why Go - Listen to a performance by the Hudson Valley Piano Club.
- Pricing - $5.
- When/Where - Sunday 4 p.m. at West Rock Indoor Sports and Entertainment Complex, located at 21 Pralle Lane, Nanuet.
- Why Go - Be a part of a support group for breast cancer survivors that offers free tennis lessons and matches to those going through any phase of breast cancer.

- When/Where - Sunday 7 p.m. at the Elmwood Playhouse, located at 10 Park Street, Nyack.
- Why Go - Enjoy an interactive performance made up on the spot by this comedy troupe.
