Rockland Boulders Host 2013 Job, Internship Fair Today

Resumers, applications accepted 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Provident Bank Park in Pomona.

The Rockland Boulders have a job and internship fair today, Sunday, Jan. 13, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Provident Bank Park in Pomona.

Members of the Boulders front office will be accepting resumes and applications for spring and summer positions, as well as, holding short introductory interviews.  Full-time positions available include Account Executives for selling tickets, a Corporate Sales position, Retail Merchandise Coordinator and In-Game Entertainment Coordinator. 

Seasonal positions, starting in May and continuing through September, include; customer service representatives, parking lot attendants, ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers and concession workers.

“I really enjoy working with the Boulders,” said Danyel DeRosario, a 2011 seasonal employee who was promoted to a full-time front office position in September. “It is a great family environment and I love coming to work.” 

Internships include game operations, special events, community relations, public relations, sales and marketing, graphic design, photography and ticket operations. All internships are for credit or experience only.

“As a college student interning for the Boulders during their inaugural season was a great experience,” said Dan Kaplan, a 2012 summer intern. “I was able to see first-hand how a professional sports organization worked.” 

Since the team's launch in Rockland County in 2011, the Rockland Boulders have employed nearly 300 full-time and seasonal employees.
