Real Estate Roundup: Construction Wakes Up
Real estate listings, prices and sales in Piermont and the Nyack area
Another slower week for local real estate with no title transfers (sales), and no hot new residential listings—just one new condo listing in Valley Cottage.
There were, however, some homes that were re-listed, with one in particular at 646 North Broadway in Upper Nyack that reduced its price by $505,000. Now that's a serious price reduction!
In addition, there were six properties that went under contract, including two building lots in Sneden's Pointe in Palisades. It seems on the high end, new construction market is waking up.

I thought I would also start to list some of the significant rentals that hit the market. This week the 4400 Square Foot apartment in the silk mill building in Piermont rented in 2 days for $4450 per month With 35 foot ceilings and windows you can drive a small car through, you can understand why it rented so fast. In addition, a great new rental with a swimming pool along the Hudson came out in Upper Nyack this week for $4000 per month. So if you don't want to jump into the river to cool off this summer, you can just chill out in your riverside pool, a beautiful setting.
