Real Estate Roundup: South Nyack Riverfront Home Sees 9 Offers, Sells Well Over Asking Price

A fresh new crop of listings hit the market this week: the area saw 14 new properties, including an 1858 Victorian on Cornelison Avenue, a gorgeous waterfront property in South Nyack on Edgewater, two Clermont condos, two Piermont Landing townhouses, a two-family in Piermont and a large commercial warehouse in Nyack on Burd Street.

There were only two title transfers this week—a Cape Cod in Van Houten Fields in West Nyack and a short sale on Depew Ave in Nyack.

The area saw two properties go under contract, including a farm house in Palisades on Oak Tree Road, and our featured property, 119 Piermont Ave in South Nyack. This home had nine offers and sold for substantially higher than the listing price. Plus, it sold in one week.  

This shows that a well-priced waterfront home is in very high demand. Let's see if the new waterfront listing on Edgewater gets the same reaction.
