Nine Homes in Piermont, Nyacks Under Contract

Yesterday, we took a look at a new listing that hit the market in Upper Grandview—.

Here's what else is new from last week, including 11 other listings like a riverview condo at 512 Devries Ct. in Piermont listed for $759,900, an interesting two-family at 15 Summit Ave. in Tappan and a condo with a stream-fed garden at 21 Hickory Hill Lane (a 30 unit senior community in Tappan listed for $350,000).

There are some more affordable properties, as well—the new batch includes six properties priced below $400,000. In particular, the bi-level home on a half acre at 422 Storms Rd. in Valley Cottage for $350,000 looks like a good value. 

More encouraging news is the nine properties that went into contract.   Pending deals that stand out include the new construction at Riverton in Upper Nyack, the commercial building at 48 South Franklin Ave. in Nyack that has been on and off the market for over four years, the foreclosure at 424 Christian Herald Rd. in Valley Cottage that was listed for only $159,900 and the 1731 Dutch Sandstone home at 272 Piermont Ave. that sold in just 8 days.

Not so busy for the title transfers, however. We only saw two properties close this week. A co-op at Salisbury Point, and a piece of land on 9W in Upper Grandview.
