The local real estate market picked up a little this week with 8 new listings, including our featured home.

The Piermont castle—stone, built in 1892 and set on 18-acres—is back on the market and listed at $9,500,000; the annual property taxes are $78,570.

If a castle is a little above your budget, there was also an affordable home at 136 Castle Heights Ave in Upper Nyack listed at $359,000 with annual taxes around $8,600. The region also saw two river view building lots in Upper Grandview on Welles Lane ranging from $425,000 to $499,000.
