Nyack Hospital Adds New Members To Medical Staff

Doctors named for a variety of medical specialties.

today announce that the following providers were recently appointed to its Medical Staff:

Dominick Artuso, MD

Surgeon Dominick Artuso, MD, is a member of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Artuso is a graduate of Universidad Cetec in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency, as well as his Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, at New York Medical College. Dr. Artuso is certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Artuso is Director of the Surgical Weight Loss Center in Poughkeepsie.

Lesly Benodin, MD

Radiologist Lesly Benodin, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. Dr. Benodin is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, and completed his Internship and Residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.  He is associated with Imaging on Call located in Poughkeepsie.

Anita Bhola, MD

Sleep medicine specialist Anita Bhola, MD, is a member of the Department of Medicine, subsection of Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Bhola is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, University of New Delhi, India. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Downtown Hospital, her Clinical Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital/VA Medical Center, her Clinical Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, and her Clinical Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Clinilabs Sleep Disorders Institute in New York. Dr. Bhola is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine.

She is certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  She is Medical Director of the Center for Sleep Medicine at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital in Cornwall.

Robert Cusumano, MD

Surgeon Robert Cusumano, MD, is a member of the Department of Surgery, subsection of Otolaryngology-ENT. Dr. Cusumano is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology Residency at New York University Medical Center, and his Head and Neck Surgical Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and the American Head and Neck Society. Dr. Cusumano is associated with ENT and Allergy Associates, located in Oradell, NJ.

Christine Dowling, DDS

Pediatric Dentist Christine Dowling, DDS, is a member of the Department of Dentistry. Dr. Dowling is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. She completed her General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and was Chief Pediatric Dental Resident at Maimonides Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Women Dentists. Dr. Dowling’s practice, Somers Pediatric Dentistry, is located in Somers.

Macarthur Drake Jr., MD

Radiologist Macarthur Drake, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. Dr. Drake is a graduate of Wright State University. He completed his Internship at Akron City Hospital, his Radiology Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, and his Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, National Medical Association and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Drake is associated with the Polytope Corporation. 

Susan Dreiss-Carroll, RPA-C

Physician Assistant Susan Dreiss-Carroll, RPA-C, is a member of the Department of Family Practice. Ms. Dreiss-Carroll is a graduate of Long Island University/Brooklyn Hospital Center Physician Assistant Program. She received national certification as a Physician Assistant. Ms. Dreiss-Carroll is associated with Highland Medical Associates practicing at Orangetown Family Practice in Tappan.

Yelena Ginzburg, MD

Pathologist Yelena Ginzburg, MD, is a member of the Department of Pathology. Dr. Ginzburg is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine and her Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center.  She is board certified in by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also board certified in Hematology. Dr. Ginzburg is board certified in hematology. 

She is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Associate Attending Physician at Rockefeller University Hospital, Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. She is Medical Director, Special Patient Services at the New York Blood Center.

 Monica Hamburgh, MD, PhD

Pediatrician Monica Hamburgh, MD, is a member of the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Hamburgh is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and received her PhD in Microbiology & Immunology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Residency at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.  She is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Hamburgh is associated with Clarkstown Pediatrics in Nanuet.

Maja Ilic, MD

Neurologist Maja Ilic, MD, is a member of the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Ilic is a graduate of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia. She completed her Residency in Pediatrics from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, her Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, and her Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy from Columbia University Medical Center and the Columbia Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society and the American Epilepsy Society. 

Amber McDonald RPA-C

Surgical Physician Assistant Amber McDonald, RPA-C, is a member of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She received her Baccalaureate of Physician Assistant Studies and Certificate from Long Island University-Brooklyn. She is NCCPA Certified. Ms. McDonald is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is associated with Premier Orthopedics of Westchester and Rockland in New City and Dobbs Ferry.

Mykola Mohuchy, MD

Radiologist Mykola “Mick” Mohuchy, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. He is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and was Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Beth Israel Medical Center as well as a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is  board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Mohuchy is associated with Imaging on Call located in Poughkeepsie.

Erinn Noeth, MD

Radiologist Erinn Noeth, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed her Internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis and was Chief Resident, George Washington University Department of Radiology. She completed her Fellowship in Musculoskeletal MRI at the Beverly Radiology Medical Group/Radnet in Los Angeles. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Noeth is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society. 

Patricia Ann Shi, MD

Pathologist Patricia Ann Shi, MD, is a member of the Department of Pathology. She is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine, and received her MS in Clinical Research from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her Residency in Medicine at Duke University. She was a Transfusion Medicine Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and a Hematology Fellow and Research Fellow at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). Dr. Shi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Association of Blood Banks. Dr. Shi is Medical Director of the New York Blood Center. 

Frank Shin, MD

Radiologist Frank Shin, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Toronto. He completed his Surgical Internship at Berkshire Medical Center, and was Radiology Resident and Chief Resident at Worcester Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society.

 Rajiv Singh, MD

Cardiologist Rajiv Singh, MD, is a member of the Department of Medicine, subsection of Cardiology. He is a graduate of Columbia University Medical School, and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Angioplasty at New York University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology and peripheral angioplasty. Dr. Singh is associated with Cardiology Consultants of Rockland.

Vanessa Taha, CRNA

Nurse anesthetist Vanessa Taha, CRNA, is a member of the Department of Anesthesiology. She received her BS in Nursing from Seton Hall University, and is a graduate of the MSN Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of North Florida. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Ms. Taha is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Reena Wagner, MD

Radiologist Reena Wagner, MD, is a member of the Department of Radiology. She is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Internship at Booth Memorial Medical Center/New York Hospital of Queens, and her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Fellowship in Body and Breast Imaging at Montefiore Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Wagner is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Society of Breast Imaging. She is associated with the Comprehensive Breast Center at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ.
