New West Nyack Restaurant to Create 200 Jobs

Yard House eatery to open at Palisades Center in late July

A Yard House restaurant is set to open at the Palisades Center this July, and bring with it about 200 jobs, sources said.

The eatery—part of a chain of 40 across the country—is slated to open its doors to the public July 29. Yard House eateries feature American cuisine and close to 200 varieties of beer.

Available positions include servers, bartenders, hosts, chefs and dishwashers.

"We're looking for team members who are community-minded and have the drive and motivation to give our guests the great service they have come to know and love throughout all of our Yard House locations," said Harald Herrmann, president and CEO of Yard House Restaurants.

Job seekers can apply for positions in person from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Yard House Hiring Center, located next to the ice rink in the Alder Community Room on level four of the .

Hiring will take place through July 7.

"We’re excited to bring our newest Yard House location to West Nyack and hope to become a part of this tight-knit community with such a rich local arts culture," Herrmann added.
