New In Town: Baseball Coaching Center Moves To Nyack

K-Zone crew leaves Nanuet Mall for Main Street.

To most people, baseball season is over.

For the diehards of local youth sports, it's always baseball season. However, fall and winter are the seasons when players — especially pitchers and catchers — head indoors to hone their skills with coaches specializing in those areas.

In Nyack, a Main Street storefront has been converted into a new baseball training center by the crew of K-Zone, which previously worked out of a storefront on the top floor of the Nanuet Mall.

K-Zone is now open at 256 Main St., between Route 9W (Higland Avenue) and Midland Avenue. Inside, artificial turf covers the floors and special netting creates lanes for coaching pitchers and catchers — and for hitting instruction.
