Nanuet's Party City to Relocate in February

The new location is next to Posa Posa and Big Lots

Everyone likes a good party. Those looking for fiesta supplies will need to go to the Nanuet Pathmark Shopping area to find Party City.

"The Party City store is actually a relocation slated to open end of February," said Ressa Tomkiewiczthe of the Zimmerman Agency after speaking with the general manager. "The new address will be 43 Rt. 59 East." The current Nanuet Party City is located in the Rockland Shopping Plaza.

Located between Posa Posa and Party City is replacing what used to be National Wholesale Liquidators.

According to the building permit, American Continental Properties, LLC, is heading the business' transformation with an estimated construction value of $400,000. The work they've been doing includes new partitions, restrooms, electrical service, mechanical equipment, floor and wall finishes and fixturings, a new front canopy design with a new storefront and entry.

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I thinkRead More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
