Late Summer Heats Up Local Real Estate Market

The local real estate market usually slows down in August when many people go on their end-of-summer vacations, but that's not the case this year.  

There's a good amount of new inventory, and some buyers with children are trying to close before September so they can settle into their new homes before the back to school routine.

I like when people ask me how the market is doing. They usually expect to hear a lot of negative news—however, I like to respond by pointing out some positive news... I can always find some. And recently, we had four properties sell in less than two weeks. That's a sign that the market is alive and moving along, especially when a home is priced well.
