The superhero world of Tony Stark comes to the IMAX Palisades Center in West Nyack on May 2 with the debut of Iron Man 3.
Marvel’s Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.
With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
The IMAX release of Iron Man 3 has been digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3D Experience.
IMAX Palisades Center is located on the fourth-floor of the Palisades Center mall. The first showing of Iron Man 3 is set for 9 p.m., with another showing at 11:59 p.m.
At the AMC Loews Palisades Center 21 theater, also on the fourth floor of the mall, there is an Iron Man Marathon on May 2, staring with Iron Man at 1 p.m., Iron Man 2 at 3:30 p.m., Marvel's The Avengers in 3D at 6 p.m. and then Iron Man 3 in 3D at 9 p.m.
In Suffern, Iron Man 3 in 3D is also showing at 9 p.m. at the Lafayette Theatre, 97 Lafayette Ave. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. on May 2. In New City, Iron Man 3 hits Clearview Cinemas on South Main Street on May 3.

The next episode in the Star Trek saga is set to open on May 15, featuring footage shot with an IMAX camera which can best be appreciated on a 1570 film projector which IMAX Palisades has.
