Great Escape: Tennis, Anyone?

West Rock Tennis Club promises instruction, exercise and no "racket"

You know what’s cool about Bardonia’s West Rock Indoor Tennis? They organize everything for you.

“We have Har-Tru courts,” says Heather Ober, Tennis Lead Coordinator of the club, which is part of the West Rock Indoor Sports and Entertainment Complex. “These courts are soft on bodies and knees. It’s a huge selling point.”

Private lessons start at $100.00 - $135.00 per hour, and massage therapy is available as well.

Held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the day—and very popular in the fall—is the Drill & Play program for women. “We have all different levels for beginners and intermediate beginners," Ober explained. "We also have singles and doubles (including mixed doubles for couples) leagues.”

“And we organize everything,” she promises.
