It will also impact customers located on Bridle Pass Court, Bridle Pass, Sante Fe Trail, Rodeo Drive, Fox Glen Drive, Stonebridge Boulevard, Stonebridge Drive North, Stonebridge Drive South, Boulder Pond Drive, Bayhill Court, Doral Drive, Pebble Court, Forest View Court, Doral Court, Oak Tree Court, Lone Oak Court, Montery Court, Bent Pine Court, Inverness Court, Cypress Pointe Court, St. Andrews Court and Crooked Stick.

In another area of the township, the power outage is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and last one hour. This outage will impact customers located on Oak Valley Drive, Horseshoe Circle, Fox Pointe Circle, and Ranchero Drive north of Rodeo Drive. If weather or other circumstances prevent us from doing this work on May 22, the work and the outage will occur on Thursday, May 24.

DTE Energy spokesperson Len Singer said the scheduled work was part of regular maintenance and equipment repairs the company does all across the state.

"We send out the message ahead of time to give customers a heads up so they can be prepared," Singer said.

To prevent any damage that may occur while the power is being restored, DTE Energy advises customers to unplug all televisions, computers and other electronics.

Oh yes, lets tell everyone in the area of the outage so that if any people who do B&E know when and where the outages will be so they can plan their day accordingly.

Hi Susan, we received this notice from Pittsfield Public Safety. They are aware of the situation. Perhaps neighbors at home in those neighborhoods should be a little more vigilant.

And I was thinking thanks for the info Tran because I am not at home and like to know when this occurs and can plan accordingly. Not sure how no electricity in the middle of the day leads to B&E, guess if you have an alarm it won't go off.....

I did not receive an alert and am not in the area described. I woke up this morning to no power (and no water, very cold indoor temps already) and -7 degrees outside on the temp scale ... 5 hours later I've just gotten power back. This was very dangerous to do on the coldest night we have. And to find out now this was intentional!!
