Ramapo stadium holds first-ever concert

Pop-rock crooner Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat played Provident Bank Park in Ramapo Thursday night, putting on the first-ever concert in the year-old venue. The two acts were joined by special guest Andy Grammer.

Fans packed the seats and bleachers, with a younger crowd pouring onto the field that doubles as the Rockland Boulders' diamond.

How many tickets were sold?

Good question Don. The coverage on News 12 showed maybe 150 people on the field in front of the bandstand and some in the stands. However, to be fair, it was raining around that time, and maybe everyone was hiding out under the roof.

I dont know how many attended that concert, but I can tell you there could not have been 400 people total in the ballpark for five for fighting. the hosts were imploring people to come to the outfied. Weather was dry too. Pretty surprised since this is a pretty well known national group.
