Blazing keyboardist and songwriter Joe Delia and his band of “Thieves” has teamed up with famed comedian and actor Richard Belzer to create a night of bluesy rock and roll and laughs.

Richard Belzer, best known for his role as Det. He also appeared as himself – and the MC at the Catch – in the Andy Kaufman biopic "Man on the Moon." His other film credits include "Species II," "Get on the Bus," "Girl 6," "A Very Brady Sequel," "North," "The Bonfire of the Vanities" and "The Big Picture." In 1997, Belzer starred in his own HBO comedy special, "Another Lone Nut," and released a comedy CD of the same title. He’s hosted an ABC primetime special called "When Cars Attack," starred in the six-part comedy Showtime series "The Richard Belzer Show," hosted the live Lifetime talk show, "Hot Properties," and Court TV’s "Crime Stories."

Joe Delia, whose arrangement of the song “Hot, Hot, Hot” gave the world its favorite party song, is internationally-known on stage as a consummate showman and amazingly-talented keyboardist.  He has toured extensively with many headliners, including Pat Benatar, Dave Edmunds, Chuck Berry, Stevie Wonder and David Johansen.  Delia was Musical Director, Pianist and Arranger for The Buster Poindexter Show with Johansen.  Delia’s talent is featured in recordings with many popular artists, including Dusty Springfield, Grace Slick and Janis Ian.  Many directors have turned to Joe Delia for their creations.  He’s well known for his film scores for director Abel Ferrara, including “King of New York”, “Bad Lieutenant” and “China Girl”.  He has composed scores for over 30 feature films, including “Carlito’s Way (Rise to Power)”, and “The Tao of Steve”. Delia has also scored hundreds of television episodes, including series for Nova and National Geographic.

Delia and Belzer have been working with each other for decades.  The over-the-top talents of the two veteran showmen makes for a very different and entertaining night.  Belzer does some stand up and Joe Delia and his Thieves--Steven “Muddy” Roues, Billy Roues, Klyph Black and James Benard--play bluesy rock and roll.  Joe Delia & Thieves will play some of their original hits--”Rock and Roll til the Day I Die”, “Under the Montauk Moon”, and “Sexting”.

Belzer practices some thievery too, singing the blues with the band.
