Thursday: 200+ Flash Mob at Palisades Mall

Center For Safety & Change Anticipates Over 200 People To Attend "rockland Rising" Flash Mob Dance on Feb. 14 At Palisades Mall. This flash mob dance is to support the cause of ending violence against women.

 

Amidst the shoppers, more than 200 people will be breaking out dance moves on Thursday at the Palisades Mall. 

The Center For Safety & Change is anticipating more than 200 people to attend their "Rockland Rising" Flash Mob Dance on Feb. 14 in front of the H&M store on teh first floor of the Palisades Center. The dance will be choreographed by Myrna Packer.

The event is open to public, no specific dance experience necessary, and join the Center for Safety & Change staff. Arrive at 5 p.m. and the dance begins at 5:30 p.m.

In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Eve Ensler’s “One Billion Rising” movement, Rockland will be “rising up” in solidarity with national and global organizations to demand an end to violence against women.
