Show Off Your Costume For The Nyack Halloween Parade on Patch

Post photos of you, your family and friends dressed up for the parade.

For many residents of the Nyacks, the annual Halloween Parade is more than just a local event — it's a challenge. Many parents spend days and days (maybe even weeks) getting costumes ready for their children and themselves.

So, when the parade goes through downtown today, watch for the craftsmanship and effort that went into the costumes and floats.

If you've been hard at work at a costume for yourself or your kids, take a picture or some video of the costume and post it here on Patch. Share your scary vision for Halloween!

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I thinkRead More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
