Rockland residents can support local arts come June by heading to a barn dance, bourbon tasting or bluegrass concert.
(RoCA) is holding a handful of fundraisers to bring in money for their programs and exhibits.
On June 2, the arts organization is hosting a barn dance in Valley Cottage featuring The Old No. 7 Band, barbecue ribs and chicken, and a bourbon tasting.

One week later, RoCA will have another fete, this time focusing on bluegrass tunes. A fiddle, guitar and banjo trio will play RoCA's first-ever outdoor festival.
"They'll be jamming from 2 p.m. onward," said Marla Silverstein, the education program coordinator for RoCA. "And they're well-known in the bluegrass scene."
