Nyack College Explosion Most-Viewed Nyack-Piermont Patch Story of 2013
Eight people were injured in a gas explosion on the Nyack College campus in South Nyack June 5.
There were no fatalities, but the campus and nearby Nyack Middle School had to be evacuated. The ongoing coverage of the explosion topped the list of most-viewed stories on Nyack-Piermont Patch in 2013.
The list includes three stories related to the fatal boat crash on the Hudson River and two about efforts to put out the large brush fire on Clausland Mountain in Orangeburg.
