How Much Snow is Coming? Too Early To Predict

A narrow strip of heavy snow will be at the center of the snow storm expected to start March 2, according to Hudson Valley Weather.  And it's too early to tell whether that band will pass to the south of Rockland, Putnam and Westchester counties—or how far south.

"The exact position of this boundary can mean the difference between 3-6 inches or 6-12 inches+ which is why it's important not to focus on accumulations just yet," the HVW team wrote.

The probability of at least 3 inches is 90 percent.
