Music Together® Class for Toddlers (Piermont)
Where/When: Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library, 25 Flywheel Park West, in Piermont 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17.
Why go? Presented by Moon River Music Together with Catherine Rubin, this class meets the third Wednesday of each month to explore how the early childhood program of Music Together® teaches music through play. Young children are given the opportunity to develop basic competence in music by providing them with a rich musical experience in a relaxed and playful environment.

Native Rocklanders (New City)
Where/When: New City Library, 220 N. Main Street in New City 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 17.
Why Go: Niles Davies of Davies Farms, Jim Cropsey of Cropsey Farm and Art Gunther of the Rockland Journal News will share with families their experiences of growing up in Rockland County.

Kids Night Out (Bardonia)
Where/When: Bounce City, 21 Pralle Lane at Rt. 304, in Bardonia from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, August 19.
Why Go: Kids can come and enjoy Bounce City’s many inflatable rides, slides and obstacle courses. For children who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there will be a pajama party with a showing of a G-rated movie. Pizza included.

Friday Movie Day at Blauvelt Library (Blauvelt)

Orangetown Batting Cages (Orangeburg)
Where/When: The Orangetown Batting Cages are located at 82 Hunt Road in Orangeburg; Open 7 days a week: Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Weekends: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pricing: $2 a round (12 pitches); Seven rounds for $10; 16 rounds for $20.
