Whether you appreciate the Hudson River or its , come learn its history (and possible future) at the exhibition "A Hudson River Journey: 1609-2109."
Opening this Sunday at the at 2 p.m.—and presented by Riverkeeper— this traveling exhibition looks at the river from three points of view: pre-contact Lenape, present day and near-term future.
The exhibition runs throughout the month of February, and before the opening there's a lecture, "The Lenape: Lower New York's First Inhabitants" at 1 p.m.

Whether you are looking for something intellectual or something more in the physical realm, has you covered this weekend.
On Sunday, there are two programs in recognition of Black History Month. First off there's a book discussion of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot led by Daryl Brownlee from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (In the new community/meeting room.)
Then the Carnegie Room will come alive with a performance and demonstration of the Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts/Dance known as Capoeira. Taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., this is especially geared for teens—although all are welcome.
