United Hospice of Rockland (UHR) Launches Radio Show WRCR AM 1300 on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays 10:10 AM-10:40 AM

United Hospice of Rockland (UHR) Executive Director Amy Stern has announced the launch of UHR’s new WRCR 1300 AM radio show “Hospice––When Time Matters Most” on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 10:10 AM-10:40 AM beginning next Wednesday, July 24, 2013. The weekly show will be hosted by long-time UHR board member Tess McCormack Raso.  Her first guest will be UHR executive director Amy Stern.  They will discuss myths and facts about hospice care. 

Tess McCormack Raso is a native of Rockland County. A veteran of the US Air Force, she was a communications specialist at the Pentagon Building, Washington D.C.  She has served on many community boards and received numerous awards.  She continues to serve her community without hesitation and was the driving force behind the establishment of United Hospice of Rockland’s Joe Raso Hospice Residence.
