H.S. Seniors receive Community Service Awards from NCJW

The Rockland Section of National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) presented awards to four deserving high school seniors in the county. Hannah Rose, from Suffern High School, Emile Boyd from Nyack Senior High School, Julia Furlipa from Ramapo Senior High School, and Jolie Denburg from Clarkstown High School North were the recipients of this year’s Community Service Awards. The criteria for selection include ongoing voluntary community service and supervisor recommendations. NCJW annually supports these awards in order to foster continuing higher education and the spirit of volunteerism.

NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. The Rockland Section, entered its 64th year of service to the community. For more information go to www.ncjwrockland.org
