The Rockland Community Foundation announced that the deadline for submission of grant applications is October 1, 2012.
"These are challenging financial times for many non-profits in Rockland County," explains President Patrick Byrne. "For some organizations, a grant from the Rockland Community Foundation may make the difference in whether or not a program is able to be implemented. We invite all non-profits to visit our website and view our fund descriptions to determine if there are one or more than align with their specific program objectives."
The application process is relatively simple. Grants will be considered based upon the merits of the program, whether or not the organization meets the criteria of the fund to which they apply, and the number of applications received.
