Rockland Family Shelter announced new hours of operation at their administrative (CASS) office, located at 9 Johnsons Lane, New City.
Effective immediately, the RFS office will be open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9a.m.—5p.m., or by appointment from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The office will be open every Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk in appointments are welcome during business hours.
The RFS 24-hour emergency hotline, emergency residential shelter, and rape crisis counseling programs will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Rockland Family Shelter is a non-profit, grassroots agency providing services to victims of domestic, dating and or sexual violence, comprehensive crimes, their family members and friends. Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy and accompaniment, children’s services, rape crisis counseling, medical and legal referrals and a SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner) program.
