Rockland SCORE will be conducting a FREE workshop starting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Nyack Library , 59 S. Broadway, Nyack.

"We are here to assist you navigate the world of small business ownership. Our clients represent a broad range of individuals and businesses. We work with:

Owners of existing small businesses.
Individuals looking to change careers and start their own business.
Retirees looking to stay active, focused, and enjoy additional income.
Anyone who wants to know more about the world of small business ownership.

In the past three years we have worked with over 2,000 individuals in consulting meetings and seminars. Clients and their consultants meet as many times as needed and there is never a charge for a meeting."

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I think…Read More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
