Fundraising for Homes for Heroes, Remembering Rockland Humanitarian

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1. Rockland Community College's student veterans are sponsoring a dodgeball tournament to benefit Homes for Heroes at 3 p.m. in RCC's Levy Fieldhouse. Cost to play is $5 per person and $20 per team of four. Spectators get in free. Find out more here

2. There will be a celebration of the life of humanitarian Jeffrey Keahon on what would have been his 70th birthday 7 p.m. Thursday at Pearl River High School. Keahon, who lived in Pearl River, was known for his charitable work in and beyond Rockland County. Read more here
