1) The two candidates for Orangetown Supervisor, incumbent Democrat Andy Stewart and Republican challenger Walter Wettje, will be in court today for a hearing regarding ballots in a race that is still unresolved three weeks after election day. Read more here.
2) The Rockland County Legislature will hold a series of committee meetings, including a joint session of the Planning and Public Works with Budget and Finance at 7:10 p.m. at 11 New Hempstead Road in New City. The Budget & Finance Committee will meet again to discuss salary reduction proposals for county executive and county clerk for 2014.
3. Winter Storm Boreas is coming. The high forecast calls for a high temperature of only 40 degrees and rain that will start getting heavy tonight with the potential for flooding.
